What Was Freaky Friday Plot About?
Freaky Friday was a fantasy-comedy about a mother-daughter tandem who couldn’t stand each other until the two switched bodies after eating a fortune cookie. After that, the two got to understand each other’s predicaments and see things from their own perspective. When they were switched back, the relationship between the two became better than ever.
Will There Be A Freaky Friday 2?
With the interest of the two lead actresses to star in a sequel of the iconic film, it looks like the final decision will have to come from Disney. While doing a press tour for her upcoming film, Halloween Ends, Curtis revealed that she personally pitched the idea to Disney. “I’ve already written to Disney, my friends at Disney. I’m in their new Haunted Mansion movie.” As for what Freaky Friday 2 will be about, Curtis shared that she wishes to be the “old grandma who switches places. So then Lindsay gets to be the sexy grandma, who is still happy with Mark Harmon in all the ways you would be happy with Mark Harmon. And I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today.” When asked about Lohan’s reaction to the sequel, Curtis shared: “Linday Lohan and I are friends… Lindsay Lohan and I text. She texted me the other day, she’s in Ireland making Irish Wish. Anyway, Freaky Friday remake? Absolutely.”
