For a time, Henry’s return to the franchise seemed like a massive pipe dream but as the DCEU ushers in a brand new era under Warner Bros. Discovery’s leadership, more and more people are starting to get convinced that the franchise’s original Superman actor will once again take flight sooner rather than later.On Twitter, insider Grace Randolph posted a cryptic tweet that seems to hint at Cavill’s grand DCEU comeback. According to Randolph, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might have been responsible for bringing the British actor back as the Man of Steel and it looks like he has an actual influence on the production company’s executives. This comes after speculation that Cavill’s Superman will appear in Black Adam to set up an epic clash between the two superbeings. Randolph would then clarify that Cavill’s rumored cameo won’t be a huge scene but just a tease for the sequel. Of course, it’s best to temper expectations for now but Cavill potentially returning to the DCEU full-time would definitely spell good things for the franchise, especially with David Zaslav wanting to reestablish it.
