There is, without a doubt, a grandiose set for the kingdom of Númenor in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power given that it is one of the main locations where the series happens. A thriving kingdom, Númenor is set to fall by the end of the Second Age of Middle-earth.
The fall of the kingdom of Númenor is one of the main plot points for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power aside from Sauron’s quest in disrupting the peace among the different races on Middle-earth with the creation of the rings.
In an interview with CBR.com, Lloyd Owen who plays Elendil, with his children in the series, Maxim Baldry as Isildur and Ema Horvath as Eärien, tease how picturesque the kingdom of Númenor is and how its politics will take part in the series.

Owen described what it is like to walk on the set of the kingdom of Númenor, “The day that we actually walked through Númenor was quite phenomenal, I have to say. The level of detail was extraordinary. In the era of CGI, they actually built that city, and Ema had an amazing experience.”
Baldry shared his excitement about the exploration of Númenor which didn’t get much of the highlight in previous adaptations, “The world of Númenor, which hasn’t really been explored before or seen by anyone. We’ve had the firsthand experience of bringing it to life and feel immensely proud and have done it with a lot of care and love. We hope you feel the same way about it.”
Horvath expounded how Daniel Reeve helped them understand Númenor better, “I spent quite a bit of time with Daniel Reeve, who created Bilbo Baggins’ handwriting; anything you see written in the show, he designed. He designed an entire alphabet for Númenórean.”
Horvath added, “I spent a lot of time writing it and learning how to write in it. There’s this beautiful little alleyway on the set that has elvish carved into the walls, and it’s graffitied over with Númenórean, and if you know your lore, it’s a very significant and sweet detail.”
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, set on the Second Age of Middle-earth, will see Sauron as he poses as Annatar, the Lord of Gifts, and tricks the makers of the rings to forge it for him which leads to the creation of the rings of power.
