The fairies of Alfea is back for another run with Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 on Netflix and its finale leaves everyone dealing with each of their battle scars. Here’s the ending explained and some queries that still remains after they win the battle against the Blood Witches.
The Ending of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Explained
In the finale of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2, after Bloom discovers that Sebastian is a Blood Witch who uses scrapers to take powers of fairies for his plot of revenge against the destroyers of Aster Dell, the Blood Witches took over Alfea and traps the fairies inside the school, draining them with scrapers. Thankfully, Bloom and the specialists are outside along with Terra, Aisha, and Stella. Meanwhile, Musa and Flora are still inside. Their plan is to get Bloom inside while the specialists make a stand against those under the control of the Blood Witches. Flora makes a sacrifice of her own to draw the scrapers to her and eliminate them using a pheromone. As Bloom gets in, she faces Sebastian who takes Sky as bait. Bloom was willing to sacrifice the Dragon Flame in exchange for Sky and she learns a lot about her past from Sebastian. Bloom actually inherited the Dragon Flame from her mother, and it turns out the reason why it has been a thousand years since it was last used is because Bloom was born 1,000 years ago and was just put in stasis by her mother who later imprisoned herself in the Realm of Darkness after losing control. Unknown to Sebastian, Beatrix plays all the games and she strikes Sky to the heart, making his heart stop. Beatrix also hits the crystal which later broke. Angrily, Sebastian sends Beatrix flying and kills her. Thankfully, Aisha, Terra, and Stella arrive and Sky is alive. Bloom, overusing her powers, had to take some time to recharge so Aisha, Terra, and Stella steps in to channel their own powers and they become full-fledged fairies in the finale of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2. Together, they directed their magic to Sebastian and later, Bloom joins them, finally killing off Sebastian. All of them deal with the aftermath of what happened. Flora is alive but the scars from the scrapers left her broken, Musa gets her powers back but she continues to train as a specialist, Aisha deals with her broken heart when Grey arrived, and Terra seals a date. Meanwhile, Stella mourns her most unexpected friend, Beatrix, who is now buried in the grounds of Alfea. Stella holds the names of the siblings of Beatrix and when she walks away, a looming dark figure stands over the grave of Beatrix.
