She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 MCU Easter Eggs and Comic Book References
Jen finally takes on her first case in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3, The People vs. Emil Blonsky, as he requests for parole but revealed to have fought as The Abomination in an underground fight ring. The opponent of Emil, Wong, is the only one who can prove Emil’s innocence. Pug also gets a case of his own and his client is Jen’s ex-officemate, Dennis Bukowski, who was defrauded in a hilarious way, he actually thought he dated Megan Thee Stallion, but it turns out to be an Asgardian Light Elf. Here are the notable Easter eggs on She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 connecting it to the MCU and the Marvel comic books.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 Easter Egg: Wong, The Sorcerer Supreme
The Abomination participating in Xialing’s underground fight ring, as seen on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, proved to be a problem for Jen’s case as she prepares for the parole hearing of Emil Blonsky. Only one person could clear the air and that is none other than Wong, the current Sorcerer Supreme. It turns out, Nikki found that Wong has a LinkedIn profile showing quite an impressive resume. His employment history is a call back on Doctor Strange being the librarian at Kamar-Taj and surprisingly, a Target Sales associate, in the same place, and the events after Endgame where he is the Sorcerer Supreme after Strange was snapped. As the Sorcerer Supreme, Wong is surely stationed at Kamar-Taj but his profile to the New York Sanctum Sanctorum where Strange guards the place as a master of the mystic arts. This indicates that Wong is still looking out for Strange, possibly preventing another spell that could be botched. As Wong narrates his story to Jen, he confirms that She-Hulk: Attorney At Law happens after Shang-Chi considering that he had to train with Abomination as his worthy opponent to become the Sorcerer Supreme and he deems Emil Blonsky fit to be it. From the time of Thanos’ snap, Wong has been keeping the sorcerers together whilst being the de facto Sorcerer Supreme and training to be the official one. Wong must have been really busy when Strange was blipped.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 Easter Egg: Real Life Toxic Comments
A montage of faux social media backlash is seen on the episode which disses Jennifer Walters being She-Hulk and being a female superhero. Surprisingly, as cited by @shehulkupdates on Twitter, these toxic comments are from real life Instagram comments from when the show was revealed in 2019.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 Easter Egg: Sam Wilson’s Brother, Gideon
Sam Wilson has been a pillar of the fourth phase of the MCU embracing the role he has been given as the new Captain America. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier revealed his sister, Sarah, as they struggle to live a life outside being a hero. In She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, the brother of Sam and Sarah, Gideon Wilson, a former prosecutor, has been seen interviewed on a show. In the comics, Gideon Wilson got exposed to Gamma radiation and became a villain to Captain America. Will there be some family feud in the MCU soon?

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 Easter Egg: New Asgard Light Elf
The one who defrauded Dennis Bukowski comes from a prominent MCU location, New Asgard. Runa, a light elf from New Asgard, is the first of her kind to see some action on the abilities of the Light Elves of Svartalfheim. The Light Elves of Svartalfheim are among the refugees from Asgard after the realm was destroyed by Hela and Ragnarok in Thor: Ragnarok and they have been living on Earth. Runa is a New Asgard diplomat’s daughter and claims for diplomatic immunity, however, that doesn’t apply to courts beyond New Asgard. Hilariously, Runa tells the judge that “Asgard is not a place, it’s the people,” and the judge seems to recognize it as one of Thor’s speeches which is, unfortunately, inadmissible to court.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 Easter Egg: She-Hulk’s Comic Book Origins
After the parole hearing of Emil Blonsky, Jen, an instant celebrity lawyer after being She-Hulk, the media bombards her with questions on Emil and herself. One of the reporters ask Jen whether she got her powers after a mafia hit. This is a direct reference to the comic book origins of Jen Walters becoming She-Hulk where she was shot and with her injuries being dire, she had to receive an emergency blood transfusion from Bruce Banner because he’d rather give her gamma-irradiated blood than do nothing.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 Easter Egg: The Wrecking Crew
The Wrecking Crew finally makes their appearance and the first thing Jen did was to scream before realizing she can turn into She-Hulk at will. Jen was unfazed when they tried to show her their weapons which looks like they robbed an Asgardian construction worker. They are different in the comics, however, they are actually a group of construction workers who got enchanted by some freak lightning and they became enemies of Thor. In the series, after the Wrecking Crew failed their mission and they mention that their boss wouldn’t like it. With Daredevil’s upcoming appearance on the series, could it be that the Wrecking Crew is working for Kingpin? Titania is possible, too!
