Kamran’s narrative may look like a side story in Ms. Marvel but it also opened up for a potential ally or villain in the future of the MCU. He also got hard light powers similar to Kamala but it came with a great cost as his mother had to close the veil to the Noor Dimension and prevent it from destroying everything around it. Rish Shah, the actor playing Kamran, was asked by The Hollywood Reporter whom among the Marvel characters would he like his character to team up with, “Oh my gosh. It’s like you’re a genie right now, and if I were to ask for a wish, it would be to have Kamran interact with Bucky in some way or form.” Shah added how cool Kamran could learn a lot from Bucky, “I feel like he could learn a lot from the Winter Soldier, so that would be really cool. But having said that, I would also love to learn from Kareem, the Red Dagger, because he’s probably a good person to help Kamran control his powers from the Noor.” Shah further explained that if given the chance, he’d bug Marvel Studios about it, “I would love to call up the Marvel offices and bug them with questions, but unfortunately, it’s not something I can do.”

Shah said he would not hesitate to come back and play Kamran, “If and when that ever happens, I would play Kamran again in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t even blink. So I hope I get the opportunity again. This story has been so heartfelt and so passionately told by the entire team behind it, and there’s all these wonderful characters.” Shah expounded on how Kamran could help Kamala in the future, “Kamala has a very supportive community around her, and I hope all of us get the opportunity to come and play again. It was really the experience of a lifetime for a lot of us. I can only speak for myself, of course, but it was a dream role and I would absolutely kill to play Kamran again and again and again.” In the finale, Kamran was protected by Kamala and his friends from the Department of Damage Control and despite not liking the Red Daggers being the help that he would need, he learned from Kamala that they aren’t what he thought they are. As seen in a montage, Kamran was able to reach Karachi and locate Kareem to be with the Red Dagger. Kamala’s heart is so pure that her father told her that even if she only helped one person, it could have a positive effect tenfold. There is no news yet on when and where Kamran would return in the MCU but given that his arc remains a cliffhanger, it would be no surprise if he’d be back soon.
