According to head writer Andrew Guest’s page on the Writers Guild of America (WGA) website, Wonder Man is listed as part of the 2023-2024 season which would mean that it will air as early as late 2023 or somewhere in the first half of the year 2024. However, we still have to take it with a grain of salt since Marvel Studios has not confirmed this release window yet and they also haven’t made any official announcement about the current state of the project. Since the series is already deep into the development process, there is a strong likelihood that they will begin filming by next year which would mean that there is a possibility that it will air by 2024 at the earliest.
However, we also know that Marvel Studios is currently reevaluating its upcoming projects to make sure that it will go for quality over quantity again after the Phase Four criticisms so a 2024 release is still not guaranteed at this point and let’s just wait and see when will Marvel Studios settle with the series in terms of their slate. We should be hearing more details in the coming months about the production updates of the project. While the reported release window is not 100% a sure thing, at the very least, we have an idea of when we might possibly see it in order to mark it in our calendar. Besides Abdul-Mateen II, Ben Kingsley will also co-star in the series reprising his role of Trevor Slattery. Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton is also involved as one of the executive producers and potentially helms at least one episode.
