Not all Marvel shows are given the chance that Loki and What If..? will be having since those two are, to date, the only series that got a second season. However, some things aren’t changing for these shows as both got the same TV-14 rating as reported by The Direct. Under the Motion Picture Association of America, a TV-14 or 14A rating means that the show may have some coarse language, violence, or some scenes which may be sexually suggestive. Parents are given caution not to let children below 14 watch the show unattended. This isn’t the first time Loki, What If..?, or other Marvel shows get a TV-14 rating. In fact, almost all of the MCU series on Disney Plus are given the TV-14 treatment. Interestingly enough, Loki Season 2 got its rating despite Echo and Secret Invasion coming out first.

It has been quite the norm for Marvel shows to receive a TV-14 rating but there are some which are different, I Am Groot, for example, got a TV-PG rating, a degree lower, while the upcoming Marvel Zombies is set to have a TV-MA rating, one degree higher. With the TV rating of Loki Season 2 and What If..? Season 2 out, this may cause some stir on the shows whether these series will have an update on the upcoming Disney+ Day on September 8. Loki Season 2 is set to come out in Summer 2023 and What If..? Season 2 in early 2023.
