Krysten Ritter Joins Orphan Black: Echoes
According to TVLine, Ritter, who will also serve as the show’s executive producer, will play the role of Lucy, who has an “unimaginable origin story and will try to find her place in the world.” The 40-year-old star came to prominence when she played the role of Jane Margolis in the hit AMC series Breaking Bad. She furthered her career when she led the Marvel series, Jessica Jones. Her past acting credits include Don’t Trust the B—-in Apartment 23, Veronica Mars and Nightbooks. Ritter is also an author, writing her own novel titled Bonfire. Deadline revealed she’s now working on its follow-up story.

Anna Fishko, who’s also behind The Society and Fear the Walking Dead, will serve as the new series’ creator and showrunner. She will also serve as the executive producer of Orphan Black: Echoes with the original series’ co-creator and director John Fawcett and the executive producers David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg.
