While we won’t be seeing that spinoff show until 2023, we still have The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 to look forward to. But when will it be released? Here’s what we know about the show so far.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 Release Date
AMC revealed that this is the final season for The Walking Dead. And after a run of 12 years, it’s about time the producers put an end to the zombie series. Still, we can’t deny that this show kickstarted the decade of zombie films to grace our TV screens and movie theaters. And to be fair, there have been a number of really good zombie shows and movies to come out in the past decade like Train to Busan, Kingdom, World War Z, Black Summer, and All Of Us Are Dead. But this doesn’t mean we won’t get to see our favorite The Walking Dead characters anymore. AMC has announced six spinoff shows based on the series. And this already gives us a clue on who will survive The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3. So when will part 3 come out? The Walking Dead Season 11 was divided into three parts. Part 1 was released in August 2021 and ran until October 2021. The show went on a mid-break hiatus before it returned for Part 2 in February until April 2022. Another hiatus was announced before the release of Part 3. And thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long anymore. The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 will be released on AMC on Monday, October 3rd at 9 pm ET. There will be a total of 8 episodes that will be released weekly.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 Story
When the first episode of The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 airs, we will continue on with episode 17. Lance Hornsby (played by Josh Hamilton) and the Commonwealth have taken over the communities of the survivors. Meanwhile, our protagonists Maggie (played by Lauren Cohan), Daryl (played by Norman Reedus), Aaron (played by Ross Marquand), Gabe (played by Seth Gilliam), and the others have taken up arms with them and exiled themselves from the Commonwealth. At the Commonwealth, however, Connie (played by Lauren Ridloff) and her gang have looked up for any information they can use against the Milton family. In the process, they have distributed a rogue publication to give the residents an idea of their dealings. It’s gonna be a tense last 8 episodes. Unfortunately, with AMC’s announcement of spinoff shows, we already know who’s gonna make it out alive. But it’s still going to be interesting to see how everyone battles it out in the end. After all, this is the finale and the end of an era.
