Blockbuster Season 1 Finale Recap
Everything started when Timmy asked former child star Lil’ Stevie (Bobby Moynihan) to make an appearance in his store, Blockbuster. From there, things began to turn out badly. Many angry customers came to the store when a solar storm shut down the internet. Everyone wanted to get their hands on any DVDs—so desperate that even a Jimmy Fallon movie was rented—due to offline streaming services. A fight between Percy (J.B. Smoove) and Stevie broke out, resulting in a big battle with everyone inside Blockbuster. To make matters worse, Timmy said Eliza’s name instead of his ex-girlfriend, Lena. Eliza, alternatively, refused her husband, Aaron’s proposal to renew their vow after realizing she still loved Timmy. Sadly, Timmy witnessed Aaron’s proposal but didn’t know that Eliza rejected it, so he told her he was done caring about anything and walked out. Series Creator Discusses Timmy, Eliza’s Future in Blockbuster Season 2
In an interview with TVLine, Ramos talked about what would happen to Timmy and Eliza’s respective relationships and their own in Blockbuster Season 2. Timmy’s light seemed to have dimmed after his store got destroyed. So, how would it affect the future of Blockbuster and his relationship with Eliza? “I haven’t thought too much about that yet, [but] we did talk about what happens when you break the unbreakable man,” Ramos said. “What are your coping mechanisms? I have mixed feelings about that.
