Most of you are aware of the rumors that circulated last year about Evans’ potential return to the billion-dollar franchise but nothing official has been announced by Marvel Studios. Now, Mackie is weighing in on the possibility of his good friend making his triumphant return to the MCU. Speaking with E! News, the Captain America: New World Order star claims that his Chris has moved on from the MCU and he’s said to be enjoying his life outside of the franchise. He said: “Chris is so far gone from Marvel. Like, Marvel is not even in his radius. He’s so far gone. He’s enjoying life. Evans even expressed his doubts about reprising his iconic role in previous interviews, thinking it could tarnish the legacy his version of Captain America already established in the franchise.If you’d ask me though, I wouldn’t mind seeing Rogers back in the franchise but I’d totally be against the idea of him suiting up as Cap. Captain America: New World Order will begin filming next year.
